Andrea Gilli is a lecturer at the University of St Andrews, a senior advisor of the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense in Italy, and an expert mentor of NATO DIANA (Defense Innovation Accelerator of the North Atlantic). Previously, Andrea was a senior researcher at the NATO Defense College, a post-doctoral fellow at both Harvard and Stanford universities, a visiting scholar at both Columbia and Johns Hopkins universities and an associate fellow at the European Union Institute for Security Studies. Andrea's research has been published in International Security, Security Studies, and Journal of Strategic Studies, among others.
