
Dr Anjuli R K Shere is the Head of Emerging Cyber Risk Insights and
Strategic Partnerships for the UK Government’s Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT). She holds a DPhil/PhD in Cyber Security from the University of Oxford and was a research fellow at Harvard’s Shorenstein Center, focusing on novel technological threats to democratic infrastructure. She has also served as an intelligence analyst on seven series of Channel 4’s Hunted, and applied her skills to support electoral integrity during the 2024 UK General Election. Anjuli has Professional Chartership (ChCSP) in the UK Cyber Security Council’s Cyber Security Governance & Risk Management specialism. She is a member of the UK Offensive Cyber Working Group College of Experts, and an inaugural RUSI UK Cyber Effects Fellow. Her work bridges policy, security, and storytelling – whether developing a practical internet of things risk management toolkit for journalists, scripting comic books with varied contemporary themes, or speaking on complex global threats.
