Elisa Chiapponi is a Senior Cybersecurity Researcher at Amadeus and a member of the Threat Actor Working Group at the Aviation ISAC. Her work focuses on designing and deploying innovative cybersecurity solutions to detect and mitigate large-scale bot attacks in real-world production environments, bridging academic research with operational security needs. Elisa is also a 2026-2027 Virtual Routes European Cybersecurity Fellow.
She holds a Ph.D. in Cryptography and Security from Sorbonne Université and has over six years of experience across academia and industry. Her research has been published in leading academic and industry conferences.
Beyond her technical work, Elisa is committed to leadership development and mentoring, particularly supporting women in STEM. She is actively involved in initiatives that promote international collaboration, inclusive leadership, and dialogue at the intersection of technology, society, and global challenges.
