Fee‑Marie von der Brelie is a Policy Officer for Cybersecurity and Technology at Independent Diplomat, where she advises governments – particularly small and underrepresented states – on navigating the fast‑evolving landscape of international cyber and digital diplomacy. In her work, she helps translate challenges at the intersection of technology, diplomacy, and international security into practical, actionable guidance, supporting governments as they build resilient and future‑ready strategies in complex multilateral environments. She is also a 2026-2027 Virtual Routes European Cybersecurity Fellow.
Before joining Independent Diplomat, Fee‑Marie served as a Project Officer for Cyber Diplomacy and International Partnerships at the EU Institute for Security Studies. There, she implemented the EU‑funded Advancing the Cyber Programme of Action project and supported the EU’s cyber diplomacy initiative, EU Cyber Direct, by conducting research, providing policy advice, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and leading capacity‑building efforts to strengthen the EU’s international cyber and digital engagements.
