Helene Pleil is a Senior Policy Researcher in the Cybersecurity & Emerging Threats programme at interface, a European non-profit and independent tech policy think tank. Her work focuses on cyber diplomacy and conflict mitigation. Her current research examines how cyber CBMs are implemented across regional organisations and the factors that enable their effective implementation. Prior to joining interface, Helene worked at the Digital Society Institute at ESMT Berlin and gained experience at the German Federal Foreign Office, Deloitte, and the interdisciplinary research institute PEASEC.
