
Petr Novotný serves as Cyber Defence Attaché at Permanent Delegation of the Czech Republic to NATO in Brussels, covering cyber defence and cyber security agenda. Before that he was a director of Cyber Security Policies Department at National Cyber and Information Security Agency. Responsibilities of the department ranged from national policies, representation of the Czech Republic in international organisations to exercises and strategic analytics. He also has extensive experience with preparation and organisation of various types of cybersecurity exercises on national and international level. He holds a master’s in Security and Strategic Studies from Masaryk University in Brno.
